According to the JVP’s “Spiritual Leader,” Provincial Council Elections Will Be Held Only If India Pressures the Government

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) General Secretary Tilvin Silva has emphasized that the Indian government has not exerted any pressure to hold Provincial Council elections in Sri Lanka.
He further stated that there exists a very good relationship and mutual understanding between India and the National People’s Power (NPP) government.
Tilvin Silva also noted that the cooperation and understanding between India and the current administration remain strong and positive.
